For those of you who have been with me since the beginning, you probably already know about my obsession with Britney Spears. She’s been my favorite since the beginning of time, ever since Baby, One More Time! I probably just revealed my age with that one, but I don’t really care, haha! 😉 Now that you know about that, it shouldn’t surprise you that I have also been a Britney fragrance collector, since my very first bottle of Curious. I was beyond excited to learn about her new launch of the Britney Spears Prerogative fragrance. It is her very first unisex fragrance, designed to allow one to express his or her originality and individuality!
Prior to this fragrance, all of Britney’s scents were strictly feminine. She wanted to create this new one to encourage confidence and empowerment. She wants to grant every individual to be fierce and unapologetic for it, no matter what gender. This boldness in her latest launch makes me love her even more as a person, and the notes in this fragrance definitely support her mission of this fragrance, as it has spicy and woody notes! The top notes are pink pepper, goji berries and apricot, drying down to middle notes of red lily, saffron, coffee, then finally base notes of sandalwood and amber wood.
