Hey beauties! This will be my first (and certainly not last) post introducing fragrances to my blog. Those that know me know that I hold them very close to my heart and I was seriously into collecting them at one point. I only recently slowed down a bit and starting actually using them before going for more lol. I have a confession to make. I used to be a total sucker for packaging until I realized no one gets to actually see the packaging but me, but everyone gets to get a whiff of my bomb daily scents! Now don’t let me fool you, I still am crazy over my perfume bottle designs, but I no longer long for the scent as well as what it’s packaged in. I now introduce you to my latest obsession, Scentbird.
Scentbird is a monthly subscription where you get a new authentic, designer fragrance every month for only $14.95. As you know, some subscription boxes are total surprises, meaning you never know what’s inside until it arrives on your doorstep. With Scentbird, you get to personally choose what you want each month. Cool, right? Here’s the packaging:

It comes in a travel spray atomizer, super convenient for carrying in your purse. It’s also tucked away in this black velvet pouch so know one has to know you don’t actually own that cute bottle of fragrance but you. Back to the packaging, it’s sleek and simple. On the actual perfume vial is the name and brand of the fragrance. The one thing that annoys me about this is that you have to remove the vial from the holster to see the name. This will become awfully annoying when I start to collect more of these. I wish they were also labeled on the bottom of the holster for better ease of use. Nonetheless, I’m still obsessed because of the simple fact that I get to try out some new fragrances for one small price monthly. Let’s dive into the good stuff, the fragrance notes and such!
Fan di Fendi (credit to Fragrantica)
Fan di Fendi by Fendi is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. Fan di Fendi was launched in 2010. Fan di Fendi was created by Delphine Lebeau-Krowiak and Francois Demachy. Top notes are tangerine, black currant and pear; middle notes are jasmine, tuberose and rose; base notes are patchouli and leather.
6am – First off, after the first spritz onto the skin, I notice a strong fruity aroma. I would say it’s more black currant than either of the other notes. About 20 minutes later, the jasmine and leather comes through. It completely surpassed the other middle notes and skipped right to leather. This is generally a sign of weak longevity from my experience, which turned out to be false later throughout the day.
9am – Ok so now I feel like I’m going crazy. I now smell tuberose and rose creeping up. Any evidence of leather has either vanished or been smothered by the tuberose or rose. Aroma has not faded. Scent is still sticking nicely after 3 hours.
11:15am – 5 hours in, the aroma is still there. The notes of leather, jasmine, and rose are more prominent. There is a slight citrus aroma remaining. The lasting power of this fragrance has surprised me thus far.
1pm – The same fragrance that I smelled 2 hours ago is still here. The level of intensity has decreased, however. 7 hours of wear is outstanding for this fragrance. That’s generally all I need, but I’ll report with an update once I’m off work!
5pm – Nearly 12 hours later, there is the slightest hint of leather still lingering on my skin.
This is the perfect fragrance for the warmer weather, as it isn’t heavy or too strong. It has the perfect level of sophistication and sexiness while still being subtle enough for the office. I have had this fragrance on my list for so long and I am so glad to have finally tried it and even happier that I like it. It threw me for a loop at first, but it worked for me in the end.
