ApotheCARE Essentials Hair Care at CVS

When looking for new hair care products to try, I tend to go for not only the ones that will provide optimal results for my hair type, but also ones that smell good. When asked to test the ApotheCARE Essentials hair care line from CVS, I was excited because I had an assumption they would smell like roses. Turns out I was right!

When I first opened tested the shampoo and conditioner, I was instantly awakened by the smell of roses. It’s not an overpowering scent, but one that gets you going for the day! They are perfect to use in the morning time! They both contain Cold Pressed Rosehip Oil, Distilled Aloe Vera and are free of parabens, dyes and silicones.

For those wondering, I used them while my hair was straightened to give me a bit of a boost at the roots, which you can view in the following pic:

As you can see, even though my hair is already thick, it works on my hair type as well, especially when my hair is straightened, which is a bonus! I love it when a product advertises volume for fine + flat hair and it actually ends up working for me too. It provided that lift and volume that I love to achieve whenever I straighten my hair, while still leaving my hair weightless with lots of movement!
