Happy Black History Month! It literally feels like Christmas just left us, which by the way, also snuck upon us like a thief in the night. How does time pass by so fast?! Nonetheless, right on time for the month of February, I have tons of black owned beauty items to share with you, all available at Walmart at this dedicated link and shop: the Black Owned Beauty Site Experience! ☺️
Walmart has made a commitment to both racial equality and diversity amongst brands that are available in stores and online. Although Walmart has sold various black owned beauty brands for some time, this is the first time ever that Walmart has had a dedicated platform to not only elevate the stories of black owned beauty brand founders, but also bring their products to life. These products are made for everyone, no matter what your beauty needs are. Whether it’s for men or women’s hair or makeup, Walmart and its Black Owned Beauty Site Experience has you covered!
As mentioned, Walmart has an assortment of black owned beauty products for anyone and any gender; Alaffia, Thank God It’s Natural (TGIN), The Lip Bar, The Doux, Tailored Beauty, Mielle Organics, Eden BodyWorks, Luna Magic, BLK/OPL, Scotch Porter, and Camille Rose are all included. For my hair routine and wash-and-go today, I selected a few products from Camille Rose and Mielle Organics! They all help support my vision of nourishing my hair and also styling it quickly and efficiently. I don’t like wasting a lot of time with hair styling or purchasing things to style my hair with. I actually ordered all of these online and selected the pickup option. Walmart has many options to grab these and others, whether online or in-store. It’s largely the reason I love shopping there!
Products used/featured:
Camille Rose Naturals Honey Leave-In Treatment
Camille Rose Naturals Cocoa & Honey Ultimate Growth Serum
Camille Rose Naturals Revitalizing Hair Smoother
Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jar Twisting Butter
Mielle Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil
Similar to Monique Rodriguez, the founder of Mielle Organics, I wanted to restore my hair back to its natural state and health by eliminating heat products and also relaxers. I haven’t used heat in my hair for more than 2 years! I love using her scalp and hair oil in conjunction with my goodies from Camille Rose. They work so well together! It’s even better that they all came from Walmart’s trend-forward assortment of beauty items!
Walmart also sells a wide range of makeup in their Black Owned Beauty Brands Experience; I’ve featured a few of my favorites that I’ve used and tried in the widget. Best of all? They cater to all skin complexions and makeup needs. Whether you like a more natural look, or you like to spice it up with color (like myself), you have plenty of options! 🥰
What brands in the Black Owned Beauty Brands Experience would you be interested to try?
Don’t forget to shop all of these and more at the link here. Happy Shopping!

I think it’s so awesome that they literally have a dedicated platform to share these products with their customers! Definitely something more companies need to do. And look at the awesome selection! So glad you shared this 🙂
I hadn’t heard of the brand. I am curious to try the Honey Hydrate. P.S. Your make up in these pictures is flawless.
This is awesome. I never knew how important different products were for different type of hair.
I have never tried hydrating with honey! Now I need to!

Yess, I am LOVING this new shift to bring in more Black owned Beauty Brands!
I love Camille Rose products! They are excellent for my curls, but for some reason I have such a hard time finding some of them–especially the honey.
I never knew Walmart had all these black-owned beauty brands! Such helpful information!
