When thinking of camping, relaxation automatically comes to mind. It’s a way to escape and leave the world full of technology behind. It’s also a great way and place to spend with your loved ones, the great outdoors! It gives you the perfect place to meditate and truly appreciate what you have, not taking anything for granted. One of our (Keshaun and I) favorite places to spend time together is outside. We figured it was the perfect idea to unwind and enjoy quality time right in our home city of Dallas, with our bottle of Decoy Wine! 😊
Decoy Wine is the perfect way to savor your summer, as there are 30 years of dedication in every glass. After all, summer is quickly ending and you don’t want to let a single moment go to waste. I know I don’t! That’s 30 full years of delivering a superior quality wine and such a great price. All of my friends who I have let try Decoy can do nothing but rave about it. I even took a bottle to a recent Girls’ Night Out in my neighborhood and before I could pour another glass, the bottle was empty, haha! It’s a wine that Keshaun and I have enjoyed religiously together on a regular basis in our home. It made perfect sense to bring it along on our camping trip to enjoy! 😊
Decoy has long evolved from its first wine, the Decoy Red, into a renowned winery that takes pride in expressing full charm and complexity in their wine creations. I have never found a wine that can be enjoyed with practically everything I eat, also being delicious on its own. It’s long been a wine I’ve looked forward to opening and Keshaun has fell in love with it as well. To be frank, he is quite picky about his wine!
In total, Decoy has a lineup of eight wines. Including the first variety, Decoy Red, they also have Rosé, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The two we decided to bring along on our camping trip were Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot. Sauvignon Blanc has been crafted since 1982 and the wine itself is made in 100% Stainless Steel. As far as taste, it has layers of lemon and lime zest and also notes of honeydew and nectarine. It’s so refreshing and if you’re a white wine lover like me, you’ll certainly want to try this one and bring it along on your next camping trip! 😊
The other Decoy variety we brought along was the Merlot. This one has been crafted for more than four decades. It has acidity, but it also contains aromas of blueberry, raspberry and cassis, with a French oak-inspired hint of cocoa which helps balance the Merlot beautifully. It’s fruity, full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Though these were the two we brought along, you would be perfectly fine with any other choice from Decoy!
You can find out more about Decoy here and also check to find it at your nearest stores. Cheers to savoring your summer by camping, relaxing and enjoying some refreshing glasses of wine!
