For once, I’m actually getting this “holiday look” before actual holiday time, though I have a confession. This is a look that has been photographed for a couple of months now. Oh well, it works for Memorial Day, so lucky me!
I actually spent the day barbecuing…I have been craving it (not pregnant!) pretty much every holiday now and since I don’t eat everyone’s cooking, I did it myself! I made BBQ hamburger patties, BBQ ground chicken meatballs, baked beans (for the boys b/c I can’t stand them), coleslaw (made with kale, sunflower seeds, thinly sliced carrots, red cabbage, and quinoa…so good!)), and Southern style potato salad. Needless to say, I am pooped typing this post! Good news is, I feel a lot better physically, but all my drainage is coming out, so I guess that’s a sign that the medicine is working? Anyway, I hope you beauties are enjoying your weekend thus far. What are your plans for Memorial Day, if you have any?

I’m glad you’re better and all that BBQing sounds mouthwatering! I wish we’d have Memorial Day too, but then again the heatwaves over here this weekend actually gave me time and possibility to attend a barbeque party to welcome summer so to speak. 🙂 That striped romper is a real stunner and you look as good as ever in it!
