Faustino Wines x The Beauty Beau

Every now and then, I like to enjoy a glass of wine. It’s my way of relaxing, it’s my way of treating myself. I recently received 3 varieties of Faustino wine, a brand with more than 150 years of experience crafting some of Spain’s most iconic wines. Faustino wines are enjoyed in over 70 countries! In this particular post, I decided to try the Faustino VII Red Wine!

One of the things I love most about the Faustino brand is how they list on the labels, the foods that the wine would be best paired with. Now I have tried several brands and varieties of wine and I can say that there aren’t many brands that do this, if any. I’m a person that doesn’t necessarily like to enjoy wine with food, but on its own. This is definitely due to the fact of me not knowing what the wine actually goes with. With these helpful tips from Faustino on their bottles, I’ll definitely be pairing my glass of wine with food of some sort from here on out!

The Faustino VII Red Wine pairs well with any kind of meat, potatoes, mushrooms, rice, pasta, oily fish such as tuna and cod, as well as medium-aged cheese and berry desserts. Maybe this gives me an excuse to get a blueberry pie tomorrow? đŸ€”

The Faustino VII RosĂ© pairs well with with grilled or cold meat, mushrooms, sausage, pork, chicken, Quiche Lorraine, rice and pasta. To be honest, my corkscrew broke during the process of me opening this one, but you’d better believe that will be the next bottle I open! 😝

Lastly, the Faustino VII White wine pairs well with Frankfurt sausages, potatoes, fish, seafood, goat and roquefort cheese, basil pasta, fried tomatoes or vegetables. Being originally a Louisiana girl, I love fried green tomatoes. So you should already know where I’m going with this one! (As well as being a vegetarian/pescatarian, I’m super excited for this variety!)

Faustino wine review

Though I’m so used to sipping on my wine on its own, I am so excited to finally have wine that I know will go well with certain foods or alone. Their flavors are vibrant, clean and flavorful. I am so happy to have these around the house and can’t wait to give my fiancĂ© a taste testing of his own (and me again, of course haha)! You can find the varieties shown in this post, and others here.

  8. That’s awesome they recommend which food items to pair with each wine. I am no wine expert so that really helps! The packaging is beautiful, I’d love to try these 🙂
