“Who’s that?” you’re probably wondering. A while back, I mentioned my stepson filling in for my photographer when I needed pics taken. Well, here’s the mystery guy! I won’t share his name since he is a minor, and I personally don’t believe in doing it anyway. I even used an alias online until I was done with college so the creeps couldn’t find me on campus, haha. I doubt I’ll even use my own kids’ names online when I have them, but we’ll see!
I was recently selected by JCPenney to collaborate on a back to school campaign, and I figured it would be perfect to allow him to pick some new school clothes for his freshman year of high school. I’m sure it’ll be a nice change for him not to have to wear those annoying uniforms too haha. The thing we loved most about JCPenney was the simple fact that we were able to find most of the things he needed, all trendy styles at affordable pricing. Just a few of the brands offered for kids include Arizona, City Streets, Total Girl, Xersion, Okie Dokie and Izod, which are found only at JCPenney. At the time we shopped, Arizona was running this buy one get one for $0.01 deal, and yes, it was legit! My stepson even thought so himself 🤣
Hoodie: Distortion Short Sleeve Knit Hoodie
Denim: Levi’s® 502™ Taper Jeans

Two of the things he loves wearing most are screen printed tees and cargo shorts. JCPenney has a number of screen printed tees at excellent price points, including this Xersion one that retails for under $5. You can find even more options here!
Tee: Xersion Graphic T-Shirt-Big Kid Boys Husky
Cargo Shorts: Arizona Cargo Shorts
Shoes: JCPenney (in store)
We all loved how we were able to find a variety of basics for such great deals. This short sleeved henley by Arizona was one of our buy one, get one $0.01 combos!

Denim: Levi’s® 502™ Taper Jeans

We all know whose idea the camo joggers were… 🙋🏽 and actually they’re a great idea for fall fashion too, as camouflage is one of the trends!

Joggers: Arizona Woven Jogger Pants
Shoes: JCPenney (in store)
Shopping at JCPenney was a blast! My stepson even enjoyed his picks, and believe me when I say he isn’t the biggest fan of shopping of any kind. The entire buying experience was amazing; the staff was so patient and helpful. All in all, all the items we picked and even the ones we didn’t, are priced to buy and guaranteed to love. Thank you JCPenney for taking a lot of the stress off our school shopping.
Be sure to check out all the Back to School styles on the JCPenney site, for all ages and genders!

These are such great back to school casual looks. I love them all!
Great casual looks! I like statement shirts as well. My fav would be the camo pants.

I totally agree and I don’t like to share my daughter’s name and pictures either. Back to your collab, I love the outfits your stepson chose for his Freshman year! My favourite is the one with the camo print. There’s an amazing offer of brands and great deals too! Love, Valeria
