With the change in seasons comes change in style. I tend to go lighter and lighter with my layers as the temperatures rise, but I still like to transition some things into warmer seasons. For example…pants. Standard pants, like jeans can be a little too much for me, especially with the high humidity and sticky heat we often experience. However, my smocked jumpsuit from the new Macy’s 1.STATE Summer Collection gives me the style I like, while still keeping me cool and comfortable! 😊

I have always loved smocked pieces, since they often hug in all the right areas. This smocked jumpsuit is no different. What I love most is how its snug at the top and loose at the bottom. The fabric is so lightweight, making it perfect for summer and even thereafter for layering! Also a bonus too that it’s in a neutral color. You can keep it simple as I did with neutral accessories, or even add fun pops of color. This is a jumpsuit that can be worn in so many ways!

Besides being comfortable and easy to style, I also love how this 1.STATE jumpsuit combines multiple trends into one. We all know the “off the shoulder” trend has been trending for season after season, as well as flared bottoms. Add the smocked trend and you have yourself the perfect marriage of 3 trends. This jumpsuit is a very nice and simple way to combine all the trends, while not having to splurge on 3 different items. You get the best of all 3 worlds in a jumpsuit you can definitely get more than 1 wear out of!

As if this jumpsuit couldn’t get any better, it has a cinched in waist. Pieces with this tend to be my favorite because it not only flatters a variety of body types, but it also still looks good after dinner (if you know what I mean, haha!). It really adds such a perfect touch on an already amazing piece of clothing. I am in love with this jumpsuit and it is definitely one of my favorites! 🙃
