Some of you may know I got my eyebrows microbladed last summer and hated them. I told the microblading artist what I wanted and I was very specific and instead of her listening to me, she decided to do what she thought would look best on me. 😑 Now I am a very stubborn person when it comes to my appearance and what I like is what I like and there is no talking me out of it. She did this God awful round shape on me, which is nowhere near the style I normally wear, and you all know this! Well just a couple of weeks ago, the brow fairy (Kelly of Best Brows) granted my wish and gave me one of my latest blessings…my beautifully micropigmented brows!
A few of you may be wondering…what is micropigmentation and isn’t it the same as microblading? Well, it isn’t. For one, microblading doesn’t last nearly as long and it also requires you to get touchups. Micropigmentation lasts much longer and there are no touch-ups, scabbing or flaking, and no downtime required…so now you know which one is really better!
I went in with my brows sketched as I normally would, to give her an idea of exactly what I wanted. Upon removing my makeup, Kelly started off taking before photos and applying numbing cream to lessen any pain I might experience during the procedure. I must say it made a huge difference, though my pain tolerance is normally high anyway!
Don’t be alarmed as I was when I first saw these lines around my brows, haha. It’s strictly a diagram that she followed to give me my desired shape! Once the numbing cream set for a while, the process of beautifully micropigmentation started!
Haha I realize I didn’t hide my stress balls well enough for the above photo. They were given to me by Kelly in the event the process hurt. I really didn’t feel much until the numbing cream wore off, and it only wore off because I’m super picky and wanted to make sure the shape was like I normally wear them. Normally the cream wouldn’t wear off. Anyway, just wanted to explain the balls above so no one would think I was weird. 😝
After a few passes through my brows, I was finished!
You all know I have my signature look of wearing my brows lighter in the front, so she purposely left these spots bare. I can easily add a touch of tinted brow gel to the front and be good to go. I am already so happy with how much less time it’s taking me to do my brows…literally 5 seconds and I’m done!
Be sure to book with Kelly at Best Brows ASAP because she is the bomb! I have never been happier with my brows and it took me a while to stop looking at them. I mean, my brows are on point at the gym and everything, which usually never happens because I don’t wear makeup there!
To book, you can schedule an appointment on her website here, or simply send her a DM on Instagram. She is offering a special to any of my followers who mention me…more than 50% off the micropigmentation service, making it only $395. Such a great deal for those looking to have beautiful brows for a whopping 3 years! ☺️
Your brows look amazing! And thanks for sharing the difference between microblading and micropigmented. I honestly thought they were the same!

I love them, they look so natural and beautiful! I thought they were microblading until I read your blog. They are a huge difference now that I know of the two procedures.
