This post is just going to list my May faves for 2010. I’m going to make this post relatively brief since I start my first day of summer school tomorrow…yikes!!! The quicker I can finish the better and one year from the end of July, I should have a Bachelor of Science in Finance (if God says the same)!!!
Anyway, here’s the list of my favorites. I wasn’t really prepared for this; I kind of just chose the products that were in front of me that I absolutely love.
***DISCLAIMER***
I paid for all the products shown.
1) Ben Nye Creme Highlight in Medium
-You guys already know I LOVE my Ben Nye creme colors! This is just as great! I use it to highlight underneath my brow before applying makeup.
2) MAC Studio Finish Concealer SPF 35 in NC45
-This actually became a favorite by accident, lol. I used to use this to highlight underneath my brows, which always resulted in dry skin (FAIL), and I also used to use it to nude out my lips for a nude lip (EPIC FAIL). I couldn’t find the concealer I normally use to conceal under eye circles, so I found this one and it worked like a charm. Needless to say, I love this product. I’m glad I found another use for it without it having to be chunked at the bottom of my makeup bag.
-Love the product. It’s sooo moisturizing and really does aid in decreasing the appearance of under eye circles (over time). The only thing that bugs me about Garnier is that they test their products on animals. NOT cool.
4) MAC Blanc Type eye shadow
-Perfect highlight color for any skin tone especially if you don’t want a frosty brow bone. Watch out if you’re around my skin tone and darker. Don’t apply too much and blend extremely well or it will be ashy.
5) MAC Feeling beauty powder blush
-Perfect neutral pink blush for any skin tone. YOU hold the power to control how much coverage and pigmentation you want, so it goes on light at first, but it’s definitely buildable. I don’t think this is sold in stores anymore; I got it from a CCO in Myrtle Beach.
Like I said, I don’t have too many faves this month, but hopefully you guys still enjoyed them!!! Stay tuned for the tutorial worn in this video, which is going to be uploaded Wednesday!!!
