All this talk about back to school lately, even here on The Beauty Beau where I shared my stepson’s back to school picks, and I haven’t yet mentioned what those of us, who aren’t really in school could wear. Think teachers, career women, or even ladies who want to look and feel classy and empowered.
As I said on Instagram, I can’t figure out whether I like the look with or without the cardigan. It looks classy either way, in my opinion!
You may also remember my obsession with button front skirts in the past. This one is actually a faux button front skirt, that has a lot of stretch, and it’s skater style, and there’s nothing wrong with killing 2 trends with 1 skirt in my book! 😌
Items Worn:
Don’t fall for the myth that choker trends are for streetwear only. This gorgeous dress proves that far from the truth! It also has a subtle v-neck, making it appropriate for a variety of things!
Another thing to note that I love about this dress is the sheer panel and slip underneath. It’s breezy and right on point for this steamy, Texas heat. It’s also super flattering around the waistline too!
And these just may be my new Chelsea boots! 😊
Items Worn:
I also got this necklace, which unfortunately, I couldn’t wear with either of these looks because of the high neckline. Doesn’t mean I won’t in the near future though! 😉
Besides falling in love with the pieces I received, I also love how ModCloth celebrates body positivity, offering not only sizing for women for all sizes, but offering trendy and chic pieces. There’s no reason why either of those should be neglected due to figure!

I loved these two different outfits! The first, with Seventies vibes, is striking for the perfect mix of colors. I think it looks great both with your cardi on and off. The second dress is very girly and flirtatious, and I love the detail of the sheer panel and slip underneath. Love, Valeria
You look SO cute in these back-to-school styles! The floral print dress with the booties is perfect! Girly in all the right ways with a little twist to it 🙂
