I have been getting a lot of compliments on YouTube and at Tulane about my eyebrows. I’ve actually met a few of my subscribers at school. You guys are awesome 😉 Anyway, here’s the process I use. It seems like a lot of steps, but once you start doing it over and over, the process speeds up.
Step 1: Outline the brows with a pencil or whatever you’d like (I use MAC Spiked Pencil) (above and below the brow). This should represent the shape that you’d want your brows to be.
Step 2: Use tweezers or an eyebrow razor to trim any excess hairs outside of this shape. I prefer to use a brow razor, which you can find in the nail aisle at your local drugstore.
Step 3: Use a stiff brow brush to shade in the brows with a powder lighter than your hair color. I use a stiff brush from Hobby Lobby and MAC Espresso eye shadow. Blend well.
Step 4: Apply an eye brow wax or MAC Penultimate Brow Marker in little flicks over the entire brow. Blend well.
Step 5: Apply a cream concealer or cream base, using another stiff angled brush to highlight right under the brow, creating a line. Use a shade 1/2 or just a tad lighter than your skin tone to make your brow pop. I use MAC Paint Pot in Groundwork.
Step 6: Blend the harsh line downward and blend out extra with a clean finger. (If you use a concealer and do not apply an eye shadow base underneath, the concealer will crease.)
Step 7: Use a clean mascara wand or a spoolie brush to blend out the color on the brow. This helps it to blend naturally into your natural hairs.
Redo and repeat process as needed to achieve your desired brow.
