Defining my eyebrows is something I have always taken pride in. After all, it pretty much can make or break a makeup look. For the longest, I was using my e.l.f. Cream Eyeliner in Coffee, which I am pretty much obsessed over even until this day. I had literally gotten to the very last bit, which was super dried out. I even used my MAC Gel Mixing Medium to scrape the last bit out lol. Miraculously, I was selected by Votre Vu to review their Arch de Triumphe Brow Definer. It honestly couldn’t have come at a better time. Their site states that the product comes in 4 shades, but there are only 3 shown on the website and I also only have 3 to show you.
Soft Black: I’m so here for this color. A lot of makeup artists are anti this color when they shouldn’t be anti anything when it comes to makeup. It’s all about how you wear it, in my opinion when it comes to most things. This color is just as its name suggests, a soft black. I used an extremely light hand when I applied this color. It’s still a bit dramatic for my daily taste, but it’s still very wearable for those who have to wear black brows. This color makes it possible!
Warm: This is obviously my favorite out of the 3. It is perfect for those with black hair all the way to medium brown. It is very close to both of the gel products I used to use on my brows prior to this one. The bonuses with this one are that it’s water-resistant and a little goes a really long way.
Fair: I really tried to make this color work for me by doing the “bleached brow” look, but I failed lol. My hair is too dark. Maybe there is another product I need to apply before this one to lighten my brows first? A little help with that would be awesome. Don’t count this baby out for light brown or lighter hair though. Like the others the consistency is to die for. Just look at the swatches. Great range of colors overall. One other shade I’d like to see is one better suited for my redheads. For now, mixing a dark red orange with Warm would do. I know because I did it before when I had red hair lol.

Nope, this product is not sweat resistant. This isn’t a huge deal breaker for me since I don’t wear makeup when I work out. It’s kind of defeats the purpose of being in the gym in the first place to be honest. You may purchase these shades here on the Votre Vu website.
