Sammydress: Is It A Scam?

I heard mixed reviews as a customer about Sammydress. Initially that’s what intrigued me to place my order a few years ago. To be honest, I was so used to ordering from Hong Kong on eBay at that point, the time it took my package to get to me didn’t even matter much.

I was quite disappointed with my first package. The quality was terrible and I just ended up giving most of the clothes away. I do believe in second chances, except not when it’s on my dollar lol. That’s why when they began contacting me for review considerations, I accepted. Now if you have seen my haul videos with their products as well as others, you know I have no filter. I will tell you how I like it, why I don’t like it and whatever else I feel needs to be shared. Needless to say, I’ve had positive and negative experiences, but in more recent years, the positives have outweighed the negatives.

I actually have a close contact with the company that I have shared my concerns with, the mixed reviews and such and she has offered these tips, some I was unaware of before now.

TIPS BEFORE ORDERING:

1) There is a Size Chart below every item’s page. Check before ordering. I haven’t had much problems with sizing except if the item is a dress. If it’s a short or knee length dress, good luck. It may be a top when you get it, which actually works for me since I can just wear shorts or leggings underneath.

2) Live Chat is available in the upper right corner, where you can ask them to check stock. This is one perk I wasn’t aware of when I first placed my order. It may have prevented me waiting months and months for my order. Good to know.

3) Contact Customer Service with any problems. I’ve heard horror stories about this honestly, so I’m not sure about this one. If you do have any issues though, my contact has offered her direct assistance!

I actually have 1 to add in.

4) Check the fabric/material of the clothing before ordering. Trust me on this. You don’t want to end up with a maxi dress that should have been called a nightgown. Trust, it’s happened to me before 🙁

So to answer your question, no. Sammydress is not a scam, but just be cautious of how you shop, as with most China sites.
