Right before the holidays, I got the opportunity to visit The Spa at the Crescent. Immediately upon walking in, I was greeted by the staff. They were so nice and answered ask my questions. Upon reviewing the service I was to receive (more on that later), I was given a brief tour of the 22,000 square foot facility. It for the first time, which is located at the Hotel Crescent Court in Dallas, TX. As I approached the building, I felt as if I was in another country. There’s just something about the architecture that lures you in! The interior of the spa was just as gorgeous, with a descending staircase leading to the front door!
Immediately upon walking in, I was greeted by the staff. They were so nice and answered ask my questions. Upon reviewing the service I was to receive (more on that later), I was given a brief tour of the 22,000 square foot facility. It has a fitness and wellness center, 16 treatment rooms, men’s and women’s lounges, a whirlpool with hot and cold dip, relaxation rooms, a couple’s suite, nail salon a spa lounge and more. In other words, amazing use of all that space. I felt like I was in heaven the entire time and this was all before my treatment took place! After the tour, I was given a locker, which had my warm and cozy robe and slippers, and I was also directed to the water station to hydrate before my session!
My treatment of choice for my visit was the Hydration Wrap. Now this couldn’t have come at a better time, as I had just returned from a chilling few days in Connecticut. My skin is already dry to begin with and winter just makes it 10 times worse. The Hydration Wrap consists of a full body cleanse that is rich in enzymes and probiotics, as well as a warm soothing blend of grape stem cells, spirulina, aloe vera, and white tea to hydrate the skin. It is really the perfect treat you can give your skin any time of year. I felt is relaxed and my skin has never felt so smooth. She exfoliated my skin with a bristled brush, which I was able to keep and take home at the end to use again! The Spa at the Crescent also offers a Hydration Booster Facial, in the event you want a similar experience for your face. I definitely will be returning at some other point for this one!
Spending time in the sauna was a new experience for me. With it being so cold outdoors, I imagined it could only help with my congestion and it definitely did. It felt amazing to get in there after my appointment and though I was sweating, I could feel my skin soaking all the necessary moisture in. I also didn’t mind having it all to myself, if only for a little while! 😆
You can say I pretty much did all I could at my spa day. This whirlpool has both a hot and cold dip, which you can alternate back and forth between. I finished off my visit by heading into the steam room, also a first for me!
Need to touch up your makeup or hair after a long, relaxing day at the spa? Not to worry! The Spa at the Crescent has a massive room with tools and toiletries to do just that! I loved the marble and gold detailing on everything too. It’s how I’d want my bathroom to look!
