*I was recently hosted at The Vijitt Resort Phuket in exchange for media coverage. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
While in Thailand recently, I got the chance to spend a few days at The Vijitt Resort Phuket. It’s a luxury all-villa resort with a secluded beach. It’s honestly the perfect place for any romantic getaway or family vacation with its welcoming spirit and wide range of activities and amenities for any age group!
Before we could even get checked in, we were presented with these yummy and refreshing welcome drinks and ice cold towels. I quickly learned during my 10 day stay in Thailand that these amenities are pretty standard across all properties and I really appreciated that extra gesture. The drinks at all the resorts were non-alcoholic and all unique from each other; it became something I looked forward to each place I went. This one was made with fresh Thai herbs and it was so delicious. I wish our juices/drinks in the States were made like this. You can definitely tell when unnecessary sugars are added to drinks and this one definitely didn’t have any added…it was so fresh! After normal check-in procedures were complete, we were introduced to our villa, in which we would reside for the next few days.
Now there are 92 villas on the property in total, all created differently. The Vijitt Resort has the following in options to book: Prime Pool Villas, Two-Bedroom Pool Villas, Vijitt Pool Villas, Deluxe Villas and Deluxe Pool Villas. We stayed in the Deluxe Villa. These have an open ceiling and steep roof, allowing you to enjoy the great outdoors from the comfort of your villa, in more ways than one. Keep reading to see what I mean!
DELUXE VILLA
See what I mean with that ceiling? It actually runs all the way outside and no worries on keeping your room cool. We had no problems with air conditioning and being able to hear birds chirping ever so faintly was a nice added bonus. Consider this an elevated and more luxurious form of camping.
Now the bedroom itself is huge. There is plenty of room for you and anyone else that stays with you to have your own space. I had 2 suitcases laying across the floor and there was still plenty of walking room without my stuff being in the way.
Don’t let this little area fool you. It may appear as just a table to store stuff on with a mini fridge underneath, but the middle piece has hinges on the back, allowing you to open it up to reveal a vanity mirror. There’s also a handy blow dryer stored in there…any beauty enthusiast’s dream!
The bathroom is literally like a sanctuary. It boasts a double sink and mirror and these wooden backs with the hinges open up to let fresh air in. You can finally have your breath of fresh air the moment you wake up!
I have finally seen in person where other bloggers capture these shots with these garden tubs and exotic backgrounds. You’d better believe I did the same thing…haha!
This shower blew my mind, so much, that I want an outdoor shower built in my future home. I could also care less how much it costs. I want it exactly like this, bamboo, flooring and all!
THE V SPA
Though we didn’t spend as much time here as we should have, we had the chance to receive 15 minute hand massages. Seriously, the best and honestly only one I’ve had in my life. It was so therapeutic, in the most relaxing environment!
BAAN VIJITT RESTAURANT
At the restaurant at the bottom of the steps, you can experience Southern Thai cuisine. Sadly we had time constraints and didn’t get the chance. It’s definitely a place you want to experience during your stay at The Vijitt Resort Phuket, if only for the sea views alone!
THE SAVOURY
In the mornings, you can enjoy a yummy breakfast buffet and in the evenings, a more intimate dinner down by the pools. Either way, beautiful ambience for dining in general!
INFINITY POOL
We actually got the chance to watch a few minutes of a wedding ceremony out here and it was incredibly beautiful, the bride and groom overlooking the beach. It happened to be right at sunset and there were at least 6 or 7 photographers (or more). 1 of them happened to be drone photographer/videographer. That is officially added to my list of things I need for our wedding!
THAI BOXING CLASS
During my stay, I also got the chance to take a 1 on 1 Thai boxing class. Talk about a once in a lifetime opportunity. I got the workout of my life, which was much needed after all that Mango Sticky Rice I had. I’ll be sure to include some embarrassing footage in my recap video once it’s done! 😝
Click here to book your reservation at The Vijitt Resort Phuket. I can only show so much in photos. It’s definitely an experience of a lifetime that you’ll never forget!
