I have done these types of posts in the past comparing Wet ‘n Wild to MAC and offering dupes, but was forced to not do that anymore because of my employment. Now, I no longer care because I am no longer employed with the company, so I can do as I please!
I am featuring the Venice Vixen palette from Wet ‘n Wild today. Blue is one of my favorite colors of eye shadow to wear…well who am I kidding? I like them ALL! LOL but seriously, the main colors that stood out to me were the mattes; I’m a sucker for mattes! The best thing about them are that they are very unique and I personally don’t own anything similar in my current collection!
Yeah I have an ugly scar on my swatching hand. Just don’t ask lol. Anyway, can I scream in excitement at how gorgeous those two matte blues are? They are the winners in this entire palette, in my opinion. If you’re a fan of shimmer (I am a little, but I’m mostly a matte girl), then those two to the right are beautiful. I love them myself, but they’re not my favorites. The white shade is a bust. The other 4 still make it worth buying nonetheless.
Trying to avoid MAC like the black plague and save some money? Well here ya go!
Talent Pool is “kind of” close. Heck, it’s close enough to save your money on buying that discontinued color off eBay. First off, I thought Submarine might be a dupe at first glance, but that was more of a FAIL.
Yeah so Unbasic White is spot on. You didn’t miss anything if you grab this palette. White Frost is more shinier, so not really a dupe.
So I threw Plumage in there just for kicks. Honestly, none of these are even close.
This is a great palette to have. I definitely recommend grabbing it just for those 4 shades I mentioned earlier. 4 pigmented colors for less than $5?! Why take a second thought? Get your hiney over to your local drugstore right away and grab this before it disappears. Be on the lookout for a tutorial using this palette tomorrow!

Such elegance! I love the Zen coepcnt…how fitting for these photographs “you made.” You can see so clearly the beauty of the sheer fabric as it sweeps with the movement.
